announced that its Physicians Interactive(TM) Group has been selected
by Shire Pharmaceuticals, a leading global specialty pharmaceutical
company, to design, deploy and support a strategic eMarketing solution
for Shire’s US business.
The Agreement calls for Physicians Interactive to deliver its
turn-key Enterprise eMarketing Solution to be leveraged for Shire’s
online marketing programs to US physicians. The Enterprise eMarketing
Solution can support a full suite of online management tools,
including product updates, physician communication and education,
sample and rep requests, as well as eDetailing(TM) opportunities. All
of these eMarketing services are driven through a sophisticated
“physician-centric” relational database.
The Enterprise eMarketing Solution increases Shire’s value to
physicians by providing convenient access to strategic product
education and resources online. This solution is driven by physician
preferences and dynamically deploys the right information and
education at the right time. Services are available to physicians 24
hours a day, seven days a week, and providing Shire real-time
reporting to continually learn the needs of the physicians they serve
on a day-to-day basis.
