Allscripts HealthMatics Group Wins Software Company of the Year Award from
                    North Carolina Technology Association

for its HealthMatics(R) Office solution to small and mid-sized physician
practices during the third quarter of the year.

Primary care physician groups across the country are adopting the
integrated Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Practice Management System (PMS)
to streamline and speed vital clinical and administrative functions. In a
related development, Allscripts was honored with the “Software Company of the
Year” award from the North Carolina Technology Association (NCTA). The award
recognizes outstanding contributions that information technology companies and
