Allscripts actions and support during the COVID-19 global event

Allscripts continues to monitor the news and changing guidance regarding the ongoing spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) and we understand the pressure our clients are under during this healthcare crisis. We are working closely with health agencies and governments around the world to keep abreast of changes, and partnering with our clients to share and enable their Allscripts solutions to help combat the spread of the virus and manage their patients. Internally, we have a multi-country, multi-disciplined task force designed to address all aspects of the virus and its impact, including implementing our own business continuity plans and modifying them where necessary.

Please be assured we have processes in place to ensure Allscripts’ support and services teams are fully staffed. Our teams are equipped to work remotely, with the full capabilities available in all our facilities. We also have great flexibility of staff around the globe, enabling us to pivot our resources as needed to adapt to the evolving crisis. Our clients can count on us, at times like this, for help. You will receive support 24/7, as usual, via our Support Portal and our Global Service Center.

To help protect the health and safety of Allscripts associates, our clients and partners, we have taken action to prevent additional spread of the virus by implementing strict travel restrictions for our employees and converting many scheduled client meetings to virtual briefings.  All Allscripts-hosted large events and gatherings have been postponed or canceled. In addition, we have implemented a work-from-home policy for associates, further strengthened our IT infrastructure, and taken advanced steps in ensuring our facilities are cleaned and operating in accordance with CDC and WHO guidelines. Essential travel, including travel to client sites, continues when required to ensure the continuity of Allscripts’ mission-critical solutions.
