As quality data reporting and pay-for-performance (P4P) initiatives continue to expand nationwide, a physician’s workload will become increasingly burdened with reporting processes and paperwork.  To eliminate the strain of this trend on medical groups, TeamPraxis developed the Allscripts Clinical Quality Solution (CQS), which automates the reporting workflow – physicians need only document appropriate information within Enterprise EHR to report.

Data is extracted from the Enterprise EHR and PM databases and placed in a clinical data warehouse. An algorithm engine using the same metrics as the P4P program scores the data and automatically generates results for transmission to the P4P program. In addition, data flows back into the EHR so that physicians can leverage this information in their workflow at the point of care. It provides physicians with a real-time display of their patient data, allowing them to not only see their up-to-date reporting progress, but also leverage this information at the time of the patient visit to deliver proactive care.
