Allscripts' custom forms creation tool enables your staff to create a digital version of any paper form used within your organization then complete and store them automatically into the patient record. Once created, these electronic forms can be used day-after-day, patient-after-patient, without the additional cost of re-printing or staff time used to complete forms due to system-populated fields.

Search

Billing and administrative teams within physician practices voiced their need for a solution to reduce or eliminate the increasing volumes of paper within their organizations.  The optimal solution they requested would eliminate overcrowded office space, extra costs of courier fees and storage facilities, as well as other problems associated with filing secondary claims, tracking payments, and EOBs.  These integral teams demand a solution that must be easy to use and flexible, yet capable of standardization for consistency and compliance. By simply marketing the appropriate check box, Search electronically reads the words on the document and places them into a searchable database.  The document is still indexed and stored automatically in the appropriate patient record or electronic file cabinet but now all the words are viewable and searchable in the "full-text search" field of the document.
