Allscripts Remote and Remote+ are secure with no data stored on the device, plus encrypted communication to the EHR server via HTTPS or VPN. There are minimal configuration requirements and a single install program configures any supported EHR to work with Allscripts Remote. Difficult medical decisions that need to be made while out of the office can be made more effectively and actions are then recorded in the Allscripts EHR for an immediate, complete and accurate patient record.
