Sunrise Enterprise Person Identifier™ (ePI) integrates with a healthcare organization’s enterprise health information systems to streamline recordkeeping, enhance accuracy and improve patient safety. As a patient moves through a hospital or between affiliated facilities, Sunrise ePI uses a unique enterprise master patient identifier (EMPI) that travels with the patient. This identifier encompasses all other medical record numbers and is associated with all medical, demographic and financial information related to the patient.
