Bringing Education and HIT Together

As we deliver on our vision a Connected Community of Health, our Educational Alliances are an instrumental component to our strategy. Allscripts is committed to building strong alliances with colleges and universities across the country to offer world-class learning opportunities. Together, we will develop a skilled professional workforce to support the transition of healthcare where providers utilize Electronic Health Records to improve the way health care is delivered.

Small Family Practice Utilizes Allscripts MyWay

 

Allscripts is pleased to offer educational resources to complement the HIT curriculum at institutions for learning across the United States. The Allscripts eLearning System, allows students to become familiar with the operations of a physician office across the staff roles relative to the utilization of an EHR. The Allscripts MyWay Clinical Database, allows the student to experience hands on training of the functions of an automated physician's office. Both offerings are the products and applications sold to and utilized by physicians.

One Patient., and our commitment extends into building educational alliances that deliver practical, hands-on experience working with Allscripts.

    Allscripts is collaborating with our Educational Alliance Partners to develop world class HIT learning opportunities. We currently offer a “train the trainer” certificate program to Community Colleges and Universities that encompasses applications sold to and currently used by physicians. Allscripts is pleased to offer two choices for our “train the trainer” certificate program to complement the work in progress at Institutes of learning across the United States.

     

    Formal Instructor-led Classes

    Available at our Allscripts training facilities in Atlanta and Raleigh, formal instructor-led classes ensure that individual attention is given to each attendee. Hands-on exercises and interactive discussions are the priority, while extensive training materials are provided.

    Web-based Instructor-led Classes Combined With Self-paced eLearning

    This budget friendly, self-paced form of training. Courses contain rich, interactive multimedia, designed to fully engage your users and promote competency in the application through the use of walkthroughs, exercises, assessments and videos.

     

    The web-based classes provide more flexibility for our Education Partners.  No travel is required, as students learn from their own home or office. Focus is placed on providing the same individual attention and hands-on time as is available in the live classroom setting.
