Event Details

What is ACE?

The Allscripts Client Experience (ACE) offers registrants educational sessions presented by industry experts, Allscripts clients, partners and employees, highlighting Allscripts products, features and functionality to optimize utilization and latest updates in healthcare industry trends and an opportunity to network with colleagues.

Is this the Eclipsys User Network (EUN) event, the Allscripts Users Conference or the Misys Healthcare Annual Conference & Expo?

Yes. To be more consistent with our new brand and to incorporate all of our users, we are now calling the client user conference the Allscripts Client Experience (ACE). We chose this name because it exemplifies exactly what the conference is - an experience for all of our clients with learning and networking opportunities for everyone!

When is ACE held?

The event dates are: August 29 - 31, 2011*
*Optional Pre-Conference Sessions begin on August 27, 2011.

Why is the event in Nashville, Tennessee?

There are several reasons why Nashville was chosen as this year’s conference location. The airport in Nashville is a convenient location for clients travelling from a variety of locations throughout the US, as a large number of our attendees come from the east coast. The cost of Nashville locations is very reasonable this time of year, allowing us to keep our fees low. Nashville is also a unique travel destination and clients may choose to extend their stay in the area.

Why is the event held in August?

Historically, the Allscripts conferences are scheduled this time of year. We wanted to maintain a similar schedule, however we have moved the event from the beginning to the end of August to make it more toward the fall timeline that attendees may have been used to. Although the temperature in Nashville may be warm, the Gaylord Opryland will be comfortably cool.

What is the conference attire?

The conference attire is business casual. Conference rooms are air conditioned so please bring a sweater as it tends to get chilly.

Can attendees receive CEU credits for the ACE conference?

There will be sessions offering continuing educational credits for nurses, physicians, pharmacists and financial users that relate to our Sunrise solution sets. These sessions will be flagged in the ACE program you receive onsite at the conference. It will indicate the appropriate number of credits offered per session.

Credits will be offered for CLIENT LED sessions only on the following topics:

  • Nursing
  • Physician
  • Pharmacy
  • Financial

We will not know the number of credits until the sessions are approved by the individual accreditation companies, so we appreciate your patience.

Registration & Fees

What is the conference fee/cost for registration?

In these uncertain economic times we are trying to be considerate of client expenses. This year we have created a tiered pricing structure to accommodate tight budgets. Each tier occurs in the corresponding month prior to the conference:

  • $625 – during the month of April
  • $675 –during the month of May
  • $775 –during the month of June
  • $875 –during the month of July
  • $975–during the month of August and onsite at ACE

Other conference fees may apply, such as pre-conference sessions and guest passes. Visit the registration page for more information.

I want to register more than one person at one time. Is there a discount for registering more than one person?

No. There is no discount offered for registering more than one person.

How do I register for ACE?

To register for ACE click on the registration page. Complete all required fields. You will receive an email confirmation of registration once you have successfully completed registration. If you do not, please contact us at ACE2011@allscripts.com.

I'm registered, but I want to register another person from my organization. How do I do this?

You may register additional attendees online as long as a different e-mail address is provided for each person.

What are the pre-conference session fees? Are they included in the overall cost?

The pre-conference session fees vary depending on the session. Full session details, including fee information, will be coming soon.

I’m registered for the conference, but I’d like to add an additional pre-conference session. How do I do that?

If you would like to register for a pre-conference session, you can do so by logging in to the registration site, choose to update your registration and add a pre-conference session. You will need your confirmation number to complete this task. 

While registering online I was unable to pick certain pre-conference sessions. How can I choose these pre-conference sessions?

If the Pre-conference session you are attempting to select does not have a check box, this indicates the session is currently full. Please email ACE2011@allscripts.com to be placed on the waitlist or choose an alternative session.

How can I switch to a different pre-conference session?

Please refer to the modification link in your confirmation e-mail. From there you can cancel and register for the pre-conference sessions, if the session is still available. If you are unable to do this online, please email ACE2011@allscripts.com.

Do I need to register for main conference sessions?

No. Registered attendees do not have to register in advance for the main conference sessions held on August 29-31. However, you must register in advance for pre-conference sessions.

Is there a pre-registration discount?

This year, instead of doing a one-month pre-registration discount, we are offering a more streamlined, tiered discount program, up until the event. To take advantage of the discount, please go to the Register page. During the registration process your discount will automatically be deducted from total costs.  There are no special confirmation numbers or codes that you have to apply. If your discount does not apply, please contact us at ACE2011@allscripts.com.

Can I transfer a registration from one attendee to another?

Registrations are transferable to colleagues who have not yet registered for the conference. Please send us an email to ACE2011@allscripts.com and include your name, and e-mail of the current registrant and the name, e-mail, and organization of the replacement attendee.

How do I modify and/or update my registration?

To update your registration details please refer to the modification link in your confirmation e-mail. From there you modify your registration as you wish. If you have issues please email us at ACE2011@allscripts.com and include your name and confirmation number with the updates requested.

I’m registered, but I didn’t receive a confirmation e-mail.?

Please email ACE2011@allscripts.com with your concern.  Be prepared to provide your name and e-mail address for confirmation.

How do I confirm that my registration went through?

You will receive a confirmation email with your confirmation number. Store this email/confirmation number in a safe place. You will need it if you wish to modify your registration. If you did not receive a confirmation e-mail and would like to confirm that you are registered, please email ACE2011@allscripts.com.

Are group rates available for large groups?

For information on registering a group of 21 or more, please send an email to ACE2011@allscripts.com with the subject line "Group Registration" and we will assist you in providing a group rate.

What does it mean if I received a "failure of payment" message?

A "failure of payment" message indicates the credit card used during your registration was not processed. Please call the ACE Help Line at 866.888.3697, and have your credit card information ready to share over the phone.

Hotel & Transportation

Which hotels can we stay at for the event?

The only official hotel of ACE 2011 is the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center. It is the main conference location where all ACE general sessions and education courses will be held. Additional information regarding the hotel can be found on the Travel page.

How do I make reservations for Gaylord Opryland?

What should I do if I’m trying to reserve a room at the hotel, but it says they are full?

If the hotel you are attempting to reserve a room at indicates they are full, please contact us at ACE2011@allscripts.com and we will research the situation for you. We cannot guarantee a room will be available at that hotel; however, we will be happy to verify room availability at that hotel. Please note the ACE discount rate at the Gaylord Opryland ends July 26, 2010.  No exceptions will be made.

What are my transportation options from the airport to the hotel?

Transportation to and from the airport should be arranged by attendees. There are many convenient and inexpensive options in Nashville, and Allscripts is offering shuttle options at a discount. Where is the conference agenda?

Which products will be at ACE? Will legacy Eclipsys and Misys products be represented?

All Allscripts products will be represented at ACE, including products that were originally offered by companies we've recently merged with. Please refer to our agenda page for full details on the agenda.

Will any of the conference information or sessions be available to those that do not attend the conference?

The conference presentations will be available in PowerPoint only (no video) on ClientConnect one week before ACE so registered attendees can print slides to bring with them. The presentations will then remain on the site after ACE and be available to all ClientConnect users.

Events & Activities

Can I bring my child to the evening events?

Our events are 21 and over only. Children are not allowed.

What is the HUB?

The HUB is our name for the ACE Exhibit Hall (formerly the EUN Sunrise Discovery Center). It's where the non-session based learning and networking happens. The HUB includes exhibits featuring our partners and our internal departments, the Connection Center offering one-on-one time with solution experts, and much more.
