Start Connecting to Allscripts Solutions

Allscripts now makes it easier for third parties to develop on or integrate with the Sunrise Enterprise suite of solutions through the Allscripts Developer Program.  This program provides qualified developers the opportunity to use the Helios by Allscripts™ Software Development Kit (SDK) to connect with the platform.  Clients search for registered applications built using the SDK on our Application Store & Exchange (ASX), an online marketplace that provides a simple, easy way to find or request applications compatible with the Helios by Allscripts platform. 

Allscripts Developer Program (ADP)

We’ve designed the ADP so that third parties have access to the tools & services needed to have a great development experience and an opportunity to co-market their applications directly to Allscripts clients.  The program incorporates streamlined processes and a low cost of entry that make it easy to participate.

Complete the ADP application form today and submit a Developer Application Fee.  Upon acceptance into the program, organizations will receive the Helios by Allscripts SDK and access to the ADP Developer Network to begin connecting to the development community.

Helios by Allscripts Software Development Kit

Natively integrate with Allscripts applications using the Helios by Allscripts SDK.  The SDK is built on the Helios by Allscripts platform, an industry-defining open architecture platform that is designed to allow healthcare organizations the opportunity to utilize best-of-breed applications in an integrated environment with the Sunrise Enterprise suite of solutions. 

Developers install the SDK in their own local environment and have access to online documentation, including sample code and a test database to validate development before sending to Allscripts for application review.

Application Store & Exchange

The Application Store & Exchange (ASX) is an online marketplace, fully integrated with ClientConnect, the online community for all Allscripts clients. ASX provides clients with the ability to search, learn and inquire on registered applications built using the Helios by Allscripts™ SDK. Through ASX, applications developed through the Allscripts Developer Program are exposed to a potential client-base of over 1,500 hospital organizations and 180,000 physicians.
